MAY 1940 GERMAN SP Campain- DKDom
l-o everyone...
Here is the new one... Another 1940 campain but this time on the german side... My first release's "little sister"...
For the one who played the first one, you will see that few maps will be "miror maps" of the first campain... Same place but an other time. I thought it would be fun to come back on some of them.
As usual, some screenshots...
And the the linck:

So have fun and good fight!!!!
I come back in a few week with 1944 Normandy and a BA2 campain....
Special thanks for my friend Jean Francois and his support for all these release and Morge4 who helped me, testing these maps...

nice! I gotta say I have been having real fun with your big scenarios. Played all of Mai 1940- fun stuff. Almost done with your Early Days of Normandy. Playing the second to last scenario now. Had to cheat on your Omaha Beach game by going into the editor and loading up on bombers, fighters, and arty. Having hours of fun via your creative efforts. Now I get the Germans.
keep em coming!
thanks!

Re: MAY 1940 GERMAN SP Campain- DKDom
Finding a good balance is the hardest and longuest part of this work, buckturgidson.... I often test it six or seven times before being staisfied of the result.... I'm not really sure that you chated 'cause Omaha was really a tough one.... It was really hard for me too... ((And i knew the map.... )
That is the reason why having two or three testers who can help me and give me feedback of the maps is very important for me.... So thanks for the return, because it helps me to evaluate and encourages me to share my campains....

Re: MAY 1940 GERMAN SP Campain- DKDom
Hello DK,
Can you provide me info on how to initially create a single-player scenario in BA1 where the player are German (Side 0 is German)...?
I'm having trouble with this for single-player scenarios and I know the information is out here some where, I'm still looking.
Thanks

Re: MAY 1940 GERMAN SP Campain- DKDom
It's very simple in fact. for my germans campaign, I to created a txt file called Sides in my campain directory, with the following txt:
[Axis]
string IDS_SIDE1
[Allies]
string IDS_SIDE0
You will find it in my campain directory. You can copy it directly...
I hope it will help you.

Re: MAY 1940 GERMAN SP Campain- DKDom
Ok I managed to download the file but it's an .CPF file, I added the file to my campaigns folder but it does not show up in my campaign list when I open the game.
God this is all very counterintuitive and confusing, why does it have to be this complicated ?
Some help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

This may help as an example from GL88

1. Run BA on your Mac, PC or iPad
2. If you do not already have GJS'44 Dieppe on your system, skip ahead to Step 8... If you do have it, then you have to delete your old version first (steps 3-7)
3. Choose Multiplayer (at the bottom)
4. Log in to Multiplayer as usual
5. Choose the My Challenges tab (at the top) then press New Challenge
6. Select the GJS'44 Dieppe scenario and then Delete Campaign (bottom right)
7. Press X until you get back to BA start screen
8. Choose Campaigns (at the bottom)
9. Choose Download Community Scenarios (at the top)
10. Choose Download a Campaign Package from the Internet (top right)
11. Type http://bit.ly/BA88dieppe into the URL box
12. Click the green tick
13. Back at the campaigns list, select "GJS44 Operation Jubilee: Dieppe v1.1" and click Download the Selected Campaign (bottom centre)
14. This should download everything that you need
15. Press X until you get back to the BA start screen and choose Multiplayer
16. Log in to Multiplayer as usual
17. Either go to the My Challenges tab and click the New Challenge arrow. This list will now show the GJS44 Dieppe v1.1
18. Or go to the Accept Challenges tab and click the scenario that you're supposed to be fighting (if your opponent has already setup your game)
After all that, you can play GJS'44 on any platform... Phew!!
Neat little instructional vid by fellow gamer IDjester, explaining how to download and setup GJS'44... Thanks mate. Nice!
