Saving Turkey

Thinking about it splitting britains African colony into a separate country balances the game for Turks. Also turning the Turkish Russian border into mountains gives them time to form a defensive line. Just my thoughts. It's kind of immersion breaking how easily turkey falls right now

turks were owned by lawrence of arabia leading bunch of arabs, i guess its fine they r harmless

anyway they can survive until the west front is decided, which is their goal

Turkey was overpowered in 1.5.x and is quite balanced in 1.6.6.

Immediately when Turkey joins war the highest priority is to move all available infantry to Egypt front, available units must entrench there even before that. New infantry unit must be built asap. 3 infantry units + 1 backup garrison can defend against Britain there for the remainder of the game. They will tie up British infantry which will be missed elsewhere. I always try to invade Russia as Turkey.

Did that proper balance kick in at 1.6.4 as well?

OP is on iPAD version as I am - so 1.6.6 is not available.

IIRC the only improvement 1.66 had over 1.64 was the ability to move your own supply convoys manually and to tell the truth it never worked for me in MP, other than that I don't think anything else of importance was added to the game. It was kind of a "Nothing Burger" as version update... :|

Thanks for the confirmation.

Even with my limited play so far, I can see that CTGW is truly a one of a kind game in terms of strategic scope on IOS ... I don't think we will see its like for years to come ...

1.66 is just like bug fix, but its needed for potzblitz mod

and it sometimes kills crossplatform mp game where 1.64 meets 1.66
