Slitherine

For the last two or three days the Slitherine forum has been loading pages incredibly slowly. I thought it might be a problem with my old PC, but I am having exactly the same issue with my new Samsung phone.

Are there technical issues at the moment?

There have been sporadic DDOS attacks on the server over the last week or so. We are working to try and mitigate the problem. Sorry for the hassles.

Thanks Pip,

After being totally unobtainable for a few minutes earlier this afternoon, doubtless someone was hard at work on it, the Forum is back to normal speed!

So those DDOS, are they medium or heavy, light spear or sword, protected or armored? What's your best unit to match up against them?
