Matrix and Slitherine

Can someone explain the relationship between these two entities? Does one own the other, or are they separate, and just cooperating business wise? And why can I find some games only on Matix's site and not Slitherines?

Slitherine and Matrix are part of the same owner, the Slitherine Group.

Because these games have the brand Matrix Games. It's only with old games that were released before Matrix Games was part of the Slitherine Group.
