Re: Forged in Battle Team Challenge 3rd & 4th October 2020 **CANCELLED**
Sadly the new Govt rules on the group of 6 means that we are no longer able to proceed with this event.
Please pencil in the first weekend of October 2021 when hopefully the world will have returned to normal.

Belgarum - Game 5 vs Ptolemaic
So the last game of the weekend and amazingly it’s another Ptolemaic Civil war vs Phil Powell. I’m quite relieved to have avoided the Classical Indians. I was ripped apart in a practice game by Martyn Simpson. Paul is still leading the competition but he has a tough game vs Graham Briggs who is usin...

His army is FC, 3 x TC of which one is an ally, 1 x 12 Pike, 1 x 6 Unpr MF Bow, 1 x LH Bow – these are the allies. 2 x 6 Sup Full fat Legions, 2 x 4 Full fat...

Belgarum - Game 3 vs LRR
It’s the 3rd game on the Saturday and I’m drawn against Paul Bartlett using LRR. Romans are the scissors to my paper and I correctly assumed that Paul would bring as many Elite full fat Legions as he could. Paul’s army included a Jewish Ally. I did not record his generals but I think it was FC, TC a...

Re: CAMPAIGN 2020 2-3 May
Unfortunately I will be unable to make the new dates. I was due to play in the Palmyran theme for Gloucester with Dave & John. Hopefully the world will have returned to normal by then. If anyone would like to take my place to ensure that FoG has 6 full teams please let me know at peterdalby1960@...

Belgarum - Game 2 vs Ptolemaic
For my 2nd game I have another Ptolemaic Civil War – this time against Steve Murton of Reigate. Steve’s army is all drilled apart from his Thracians and average unless otherwise noted. 4 x TC, 3 x 8 Pike, 1 x 6 LF Bow, 1 x 6 LF Jav, 1 x LH Jav, 1 x 8 MF Prot OS, 1 x 8 Arm MF OS, 2 x 6 Arm Sup IF SSw...

Belgarum - Game 1 vs Ptolemaic
Belgarum had a fairly restricted theme this year. The 3 most popular army choices resembled rock, paper, scissors being Classical Indian, Romans or Ptolemaic with a few brave souls bringing something else. I had elected to use Ptolemaic in the belief that I was doing something different but it prove...

The way things are going you may be arguing about nothing. No word from MKWS as yet but the venue may pull the plug on us.

Priority will be given to those who have attended previously but new players are also welcome. The themes are similar but slightly different to...

Re: Amendments to V3?
I believe that is because the current version is out of print and a new version will be published later this year. I suspect the new version will cost rather more than a fiver.I recently bought a PDF copy of ADLG for just €5.
