Do people in this game still get notifications about the turn resolution? I haven't received one since 14th of October though turns continue to resolve.

I stand corrected- I am attacking when I order units to sally out of garrison! This makes garrisons a lot more useful.

There is no randomness involved. Rereading the code, the note indicates there might be cases where there are loopholes, perhaps you found one. The code so far is that the side with the most "defending units" is the defender. What makes a defending army: a) if you are doing a sortie, you a...

Any takers for a Macedonia either from existing minor nations or anyone else? So far there's been a lot of great people who signed up, so the game promises to be good!

It's not a random outcome (same setup leads to same outcome), so there is something in the background that we are not aware of. Yes, I've monitored outcome when enemy army is larger or smaller too and still does not seem to be determinant of who's attacker.

I tested it extensively (see my first post in the tooic) and couldn't determine a logical reason behind who is attacker. We would need Pocus either to enlighten us or dig into the issue (if he has time and willingness of course).

Added you as Arverni. I only play the other field of diplomacy game and will this one if it ever starts, otherwise the games take too much time.

These are good points- added you as Aethiopia. I never played either them or Nubia, and thought it was just good to have someone on that side of the world.

Very brave of you- added! And I wouldn't call what happened in the other game dogpiling... It was a temporary cooperation to weaken the stronger opponent, which barely worked other than stalling your expansion I guess.

The latter- MP in the game is quite forgiving if you're off for a few days. The AI also does not override your building orders but will issue new ones when buildings are completed. Those will likely be bad ones, but if you're back by 3-4 turns, that shouldn't be a big deal. Not sure how the AI handl...
