Re: Balance of Official MP Scenarios
So that is why I'm taking a beating in a skirmish game. Russian tanks can't as effectively stand off and slug it out. Lesson learned. A Jadgpanther is eating my lunch.

Don't think this would help. It should be fully backward compatible.

No, you are not missing anything. You would need to take that discussion elsewhere.

I like new features. Yea, the AI needs some work but I don't know of a single game where the AI isn't in need of a tune-up.

Not really. It could be safe for infantry but would bog a vehicle down.MrsWargamer wrote:Hmmmm there seems to be a contradiction in the point of calling it a ford then

One possibility is your opponent is trying to cheat. Another possibility is that he has in some way modded his game.

Could be a host of issues on a troubled PC. Bad sectors on the hard drive just one of several possibilities. Registry errors for another. Try reinstalling. Here's a new question We 've managed to revive my old comp.... Panzer corp runs fine but both BA1 and BA2 lock up on the load screen and never c...

Out of range maybe? Target visible by another unit but blocked line of sight for the AT gun?

I don't care for the spy unit. Wish it had not been added to the game as an on map unit. The human player can at least block or otherwise minimize the spy threat but the poor AI can be robbed blind. As the first poster said, it just isn't a fun aspect of the game.

Re: Your top 5 tips to victory.
I'm a warmonger so my priorities are: 1) kill a walking bug as soon as possible to get the alien capture device. 2) research the flamethrower and heavy tank. 3) capture some spitter bugs 4) capture some of the large alien creatures 5) use those captured in 4 to wage war on bug hives and/or other fac...

I remember Civilization 4(?) having an on map spy unit and it was eventually removed from the game. Will see how long the Pandora spy unit lasts. My initial feeling is that it doesn't feel quite right as implemented.

Re: Soviets underpowered
I think we kinda got to remember it is a game. Most gamers, in my experience, want games to be balanced so both sides have a chance to win. In fact gamers usually get irritated if games are unbalanced. Above all games have got to be fun. Don't know about others but l don't have time for games that a...

Re: Expansion Pandora: Eclipse of Nashira Released
Bought the expansion straight away and then discovered it was a 1.8GB download. Wow! Since I'm on a limited Verizon Wireless account for my internet service, I had to go to my local Mc'Donalds for some free WiFi to download this puppy. Once I unzipped the file I discovered it contained a MAC and two...

There is no repair. The time span of a BA2 battle doesn't justify putting in vehicle repair in my estimation.

Re: EAP --> Full Game
I believe EAP is the full game. That said may still have to download the final release version as I'm sure some last minute fixes probably have been included. We'll also need instructions on activating the special features we get for purchasing the EAP.
