Re: MKWS Campaign 2016 - Final details

2 quick questions:
How do the Swiss meet the average foot battle troop requirement?
Are elephants being counted as mounted for the purposes of calculating average mounted? Thinking of Mughal in 1563 which have no average mounted Battle troops.

Thanks

I am afraid Isabel will not be coming after all. A week in Turkey versus Sunday in Leighton Buzzard. I however will still be coming.

Re: Devizes 2016

Don, Is there going to be a limit on the number of mounted otherwise no many foot only armies will be used. Why not foot only this year then mounted next year? Yes, I suspect that trying to take the Tupi or similar up against Tibetan or similar would be an exercise in warming plates with your bottom!

No problem Stephen - consider it done! You take Table 3 - Keith and Adian you're now on table 4. To be fair the table allocations are pretty flexible anyway.

Re: Roll Call Theme announced

2. Izzy Stead vs Marc Roberts 3. Keith Spedding vs Adrian Steer 4. Alasdair Harley vs Stephen Stead Keith/Adrian Do you mind swapping tables with Alasdair and myself so that I can be next to Izzy on Table 2? Can we adjust the draw, as was done at Warfare, so that Izzy and myself are on adjacent tab...

Re: MKWS Campaign 2016 - Final details

I thought that Isabel and I were entered as a team with Dave Saunders courtesy of The Urban Bunny. Obviously a break down in communication somewhere. Isabel and I are happy to be teamed with Dave or Dene. I will contact Dave off list as well.

It is a KING HILTON GUEST ROOM including WiFi and Breakfast and we may get upgraded at check-in. The price is £51.75. If anybody is interested please let me know....

Despite not having the lists with me I would like to try option 2 but I suspect it might be a lot of civil wars.

Steve and Dene certainly showed us how muskets worked!! We returned the favour with Cuirassiers. :)

I hope to have 3 armies ready by then. Given that Isabel and I will need two that should leave a spare. But does depend on painting schedule!!

Re: BADCON 2016

I confess to picking an army where a substantial piece could be run by Isabel at her second competition with no interference from me. I had picked out something different to the final choice but it would have required a cunning plan and so was unsuitable. Straight forward is best at the moment. Fanc...
