No I am not playing, cannot commit 2 days to Warfare I'm afraid.

Troops who may use keil are defined in the army lists - basically troops like Swiss and Landsknecht pike blocks.

Re: Info sources...

Another significant difference isthat in FoG:R many units have a set BG size and, indeed, formation.

Also Bob didn'tmention that a keil charged in the flank does not count as being charged in the flank so does not suffer a cohesion loss, etc. that comes with a normal flank charge.

Warfare 2019 Theme

Here is the info I have sent to Tim for this year's comp. I haven't had any confirmation from him despite chasing, but fingers crossed it got through. Games 2.5 hours – or actually 2 hours 20 mins + 1-10 variable. 3 games Saturday with 45 mins between games. 2 games Sunday with 60/90 mins between th...

Re: Warfare 2019

So far I have had a very positive response via email - I think we can safely say that FoG:R is comfortably viable for Warfare 2019 :-)

Warfare 2019

Tim Childs has contacted me to ask about the running of a FoG:R comp at Warfare this year, and what sort of numbers might we expect. He needs the info quite quickly - and I must pass on his apology for this being a bit of a rush but he has only just been asked by their committee who, inevitably, now...

Alas, looking like I cannot make it this year. In fact my FoG:R opportunities seem thin on the ground due to clashes :-(

When we produced the rules update last year I promised that there would be a review of how things have panned out about a year after release. Well we're about there now, with the last big competition of the year done and dusted. So here is the chance to feedback on your expereinces with the updates ...
