Re: BSOD - Last leg of Explorer Mission

Hi There,

I did not realise there were later versions as my "Update" button on the program kept reporting that there were
no new versions and I had the latest installed.

I am in the process of downloading .20-1 so hopefully this should fix the problem.

Cheers!

Suggestion - Alternate History.

Hi Guys, I like the X-15 Project as part of the game, but it really serves no purpose other than to force me to get and fly astronauts early. There was a great deal of Research that happened in the 50s, 60s and 70s that eventually led to the Space Shuttle, but the Shuttle was delayed because "The Ru...

Suggestion - Missions and Mission Training + Aftermath

Hi Guys, I see I am not the only one complaining about micromanagement of staff. I think my issue is that micromanaging is one thing, but doing it for the sake of it is becoming painful. How about this idea to help out and make my micromanaging decisions a bit more meaningful instead of sending X to...

Suggestion - Flags on Programs

Hi Guys, While some of us Space Program Nuts know most of the Hardware Programs there are some of our newer players who may not. How about a SMALL flag in the corner of the info box to differentiate which country developed the program. In the later expanded game this could incorporate the Chinese ve...

Bug - Goal set too high

Hi Guys, If anyone can tell me HOW to meet the Astronaut Leadership > 90 Goal I would be grateful. I think it is too high and 80 would be better. Because the Astronaut Office takes 2 Seasons to build I cannot recruit Astronauts until Season 3, and then they do Basic Training for 4 Seasons. Added to ...

Suggestion - We NEED a Cemetary.

Hi Guys, I have killed so many Astronauts in the 3 days I have been play testing that I have decided that we need a Cemetary so that we can all have a BBQ in the Memorial Gardens as our NEXT Astronaut burns up on re-entry. Seriously, even a temporary Cemetary with basic Mission, Date, Astronaut and ...

Suggestion - Staff Training

Hi Guys, As I play this game I find myself constantly micromanaging (which is what the game is about) but for the wrong reasons. For the guys at the pointy end (MC and Astronauts) when they were not training for a specific mission or ON a mission then they were pretty much ALWAYS training. Instead o...

Suggestion - Staff "Hard to See" on Menus

Hi Guys, I have a couple of problems with the SET, Astronaut and MC Menus. There is no way to "Quickly" find staff who need training or whatnot because they are mixed up and the fonts and backgrounds are all the same. How about - a. sorting available, assigned and training staff members (in that ord...

Suggestion - Quick Save ability in the Game.

Hi Guys, Since we have a few "Stability" issues still, I find myself saving constantly. How about implementing a Quick Save feature? F5 Save/ F9 Load seems to be a common game key combination. It would certainly reduce the Menu hashing and if the game was saved into a "Quick Slot" it wouldn't hurt t...

Suggestion - Astronaut Training

Hi Guys, I find it VERY difficult to meet the "Leadership 90" Goal in the game. This is for several reasons including: Cannot recruit Astronauts until Astronaut Office is built - 2 Seasons - Really? - it was just Office space, and they were doing BASIC TRAINING for the first YEAR If you are not offe...

Suggestion - Game Staff who need something to do.

Hi Guys, I find it difficult to quickly tell which staff are available and who has a task. Can I suggest colour coding the task line eg. Green bar next to "Available" Yellow bar next to "Training" Orange bar next to "Assigned" and maybe Red bar next to "Retiring" or "Quitting". On Retiring, I have n...

Mission Bug - Why do I need VAB for X-15

Hi Guys, Why do I need the VAB (Vertical Assembly Building), which is for assembling Rocket Stacks when all I am doing is hauling an Aircraft onto a modified B-52? They never had a VAB at Edwards AFB - they just used Cranes that they already had. Not realising this - I just blew a mission that "migh...
