Re: Cheats?

Hello Rick, Are there any cheat codes for G@W? This is much like Panzer General/Panzer Korps but much improved and I like it much better however; unless I am doing something wrong, there's a couple of things that really annoy me which a cheat could fix. For example, the planes fuel/rearming... The p...

Re: Good to know !

For modders and those who prefer 2d maps you can add an png-image that is named like the scenario with .2d.png at the end. If your map is named Finland.scn, you would need Finland.2d.png to get such a background instead of the 3d environment: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/upfiles/32021/2582EAB06...

Hello gunhojr, Yes, freely ask away - sometimes answers can be delayed as we are busy doing new stuff. This tool is for the scripts only. Currently you have to build a map in the ingame editor and then load it into the scripting tool to add victory conditions, rules setting, events and so forth. The...

Re: How do i edit unit cap

Hello, I really want to remove unit cap on the campaign games that limit the number of deployable units but i don't know how. the number of available slots in a scenario for each side is set in the <player> command. Open a senario in a texteditor and look for the command max-core-units="XX". The XX ...

@Brenmusik: You are welcome. For those who play multiplayer: Did you know you can start a multiplayer game with a custum map ? You simply have to place your map in C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Germany at War\ in a folder you call 'Multiplayer' . Then the map can be found where you create new challeng...

Re: Good to know !

Germany at War offers a combat protocol so you can analyse the battles. Did you know all fights of a mission are stored ? You can access all battles of all turns by clicking on the flags. So you can review the opponents and your own actions as well as all results. http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/u...

Next we have some additional information. If a player adds a bonus "resources per turn" for a scenario it is now displayed at the beginning of a turn. In this case the player gets 0 resources from the map and +50 from the bonus he has set. http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/upfiles/32021/1BD8106A0BB7...

Re: c++ and display problems

Hello Jenner68, we would need all the logs in that folder - could you please pack and attach them ? Ok, that screenshot explains a lot as mouse trails and GaW do not get along well. Did you choose to deaktivate them during the game ? This should solve the problem even in fullscreen without any harm....

Re: c++ and display problems

Hello, from the screenshot it definitly looks like a mipmapping error. It could have its origin in a wrong setting of the driver or lacking memory on the graphics card side. Could you provide the games logs ? They can usually be found here: C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Germany at War With those l...
