Re: Dissapointed

For Point 2 IIRC the devs mentioned that while many people liked it a lot of people also hated it, which is self explanatory. Some things were maybe changed to give a more consistent but also refreshing (the factions still play different obviously) experience across all the factions

Re: Dissapointed

For point 1, Jomni already covers it but I'll add my own 2cents as well; I must add that I did not use the campaign feature in Pike & Shot and Sengoku. I liked it but I never brought myself to play them through because I got so hung over the attrition or constant splitting or re-joining of forces. I...

I just want to say that this game is absolutely fantastic! Based on very simple rules that were embodied elegantly in very eye-pleasant visual style, it grants hours and hours of gaming full of subtle intellectual pleasure, excitement of counting and planning, and the very special " hex-feeling ". ...

Re: Panzer Corps Gold – The ultimate edition of Panzer Corps

Exciting news ! Panzer Corps is a unique game that comes close to other classics like Advanced Tactics (The one made by Nintendo) and the "Panzer General" series. Though I never played such game before but I always see people post how Panzer Corps is a successor to such game.

Exciting ! An even earlier date into medieval Japan, something that is rarely covered in any PC game. Can't wait until it is released.

Something might be wrong with the store page

http://www.slitherine.com/products/407/ ... .an.Empire

Take a look, it says "No Company for developer and file size is 0 mb. I also tried to buy this game the other day and I kept getting an error. Is this a store page error or is this game no longer for sale ?

Thanks

Re: Field of Glory re-released in a new engine and new conte

Nice, Field of Glory is indeed an excellent game, and so kind of you guys to make all DLC for 9$. So tempting  Will the d/l be available from Slitherine direct? I have this and all the expansions registered HERE. When I go to the matrix link, It now needs me to register the games at Matrix too...

Re: advices for a korean/chinese beginner

I also lost tutorial 3 on my first try, it was quite a shock since Ming was the army I was looking forward to playing as the most. Ottomans coincidentally were also my favourite army list in Pike and shot. I love playing the Ottoman Empire in any game that offers them (and I loved the fact Janissar...

Re: (Bug?)Yari Ashigaru Displayed Melee Value too low?

We have looked into this issue, and because of the way that the program calculates combat ratings using the actual combat mechanisms, there isn't an easy fix. As this issue will never affect skirmish or campaign battles (because the units are not deployed on the map at the force selection stage) an...

Re: The AI seems to have a habit of dripping in troops piece

I use these gamey tactics to my advantage, especially for the Bjeongja Horan campaign. Distract or wear their lone cavalry down. But when the AI does bring in the reserves, I suffer a moderate amount of losses, so it balances out in my opinion. Besides, the AI sits for like 7 turns despite attacking...

Re: Thanks my first play have say really like game

Yes I've been waiting for months anticipating the release and picked it up the first hour or two it finally released on the 19th since I really loved Pike and Shot, which I also picked up pre-campaign (before the release of campaigns-- which I also have). As for the above post, there is a Ancient/Me...
