Re: Late Antiquity - including army allocations for Season 5

i'm curious about the allocation process...it seems i must have a misunderstanding, as i figured that my first choice was a shoe in as no one else chose it, and my 3rd as well. But i ended up with my 4th. So was only one army of each nationality allowed (regardless of the multiple versions for diff...

Re: Provisional outline for the Themed Event in Season 5

Once the timeline expands up to the 11th century a Britain themed event could be interesting. Starting with the Ancient Brits, Romans, Caledonians, Scots-Irish then moving on through Romano Brits, Saxons, Vikings and finally Normans.

Re: Provisional outline for the Themed Event in Season 5

That looks awesome. Definitely want to get signed up for that. Good army diversity in the groups. Kind of want to suggest a War of the Diadochi themed group with the Antigonids, Lysimachids, Ptolemaics, and Seleucids, but I realize that might be a bit......monochromatic and pike heavy in comparison...

Round 2

SpeedyCM (Carthaginians Hannibal in Africa) defeated Triarii (Visigoths 419-621 AD) 62-40.

Hard fought battle that could easily have gone the other way, thanks for the game mate.

Division B

SpeedyCM (Median 626-550 BC) defeats Ulysisgrunt (Hebrew 681-586 BC) 57-25

Despite Ulysisgrunt's attempts to gain Gods favour by visiting Jerusalem during this battle the Median spearmen finally stood firm long enough to achieve victory.

Division B Morbio (Thrace 680-351 BC) vs: UlysisGrunt- Hebrew 681-586 BC GDod- Syracusan 550-461 BC... I can't find this army so I've created with 412-281 BC, I hope this is correct! Hey mate the Syracusan 550-461 army is definitely there, I'm wondering if you might not have had the TT mod activate...

Re: The Rally Point (discussion and questions)

The internal flanking I feel is already well represented by what happens with the push mechanic. One pike gets a push while the others don't, and suddenly there's an opening for another Roman unit, which there is likely to be since pikes are twice the size and cost more than the average Roman unit....

Division B

SpeedyCM (Greeks 460-281 BC) draws with XLegione (Galatians 280-63 BC) 31% Galatian losses - 48% Greek losses.

Greek hoplites face the dreaded Galatian warbands and only manage to survive till dusk as the main battle didn't really get underway until late in the afternoon.
