Re: Diary of Reichmarshall Toth - a Battlefield Europe AAR

Thanks all for the kind feedback. Things have been difficult on the Home Front so I had to put this on hold. But I promise I'll continue with the AAR. The game is now over and it was a fun one.

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

Sure, sure, that "mod of the mod" is for hardcore fans, who played already many times though with DV. (Do not try at home, kids! ;) ) honestly, I can't imagine how do you manage to make a DV on turn 50. Did you write a strategic guide somewhere? I'm curious. You are certainly a better pla...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

Hi Uhu! Although the idea seems great and properly reflecting the oil & supply situation of Germany, I am afraid that it may prove too much for the average player. I am reading "The Wages of Destruction" by Adam Tooze and it is a great companion to understand what you reflect on your D...

Hi all! I am starting an AAR based on the 1941 save of this awesome mod. Hope you like it. I will take at least 1 week of rest as it takes time to write it.

Re: Diary of Reichmarshall Toth - a Battlefield Europe AAR

May 1stt, undisclosed location near Paris. The last couple of months have seen great activity in my office and I hardly had time to write on this diary. December 16th, undisclosed location near Warsaw. Notes for the meeting with the Field Marshalls: My strategy in the east will surely shock many people in the audience so I will say it bluntly... I want to Retreat. Retreat from our current positions back to where we can defend ourselves. If the stat...

Diary of ReichMarshall Sebastian Toth Christmas day, 1945. War is over. Millions of lives lost. Cities and towns burnt to the ground while men killed men with a degree of hate not seen in the past. What was it for? Honor, glory and patriotism? Or was it race, ideology and Lebensraum? I have lived m...

Re: Royal Hungarian Army - Turan Campaign v1.2 (Mar 23, 2016

Forget my post. I managed a decisive victory on my second run. The key is to focus on breaking the line in 2 or 3 points at most. West of sarosd and in Siofok. You can also move to Simmotornya at the same time. It's important to gain air superiority so bring 2 fighters with you. You have time so don...

Re: Royal Hungarian Army - Turan Campaign v1.2 (Mar 23, 2016

Hi all. Mcguba, great campaign as always! It's interesting to see the development of the scenarios, sometimes you have a hard time triying to achieve a DV and in the next scenario it's a piece of cake. I found the Budapest scenario a great and fun one to play. I'm on spring awakening now and I have ...

Re: Eastern Front: Soviet Storm v1.96

Hi. Great mod! Amazing how you tweaked the game and converted it in something else. I'm playing TGPW and found what seems like a bug. It's January 1943 and I'm pushing the fascists west and I'm about to cross the Dnieper. I got the message with the diplomat that needs to go to Italy but in the same ...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

I HAD to disband units. Specifically by 1942 when you get tons of ligh units in the form of romanian, hungarian infantry. I think I disbanded 3 or 4 of the weaker ones in order to make room for 2 arts in the caucasus and 1 PZ IV G. This helped me a lot when soviets tried to retake Grozny. Regarding ...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

#SPOILER# I love the Irish uprising that occurs when you capture London. And also that it is very quickly crushed. And then the speech by King George where you replicate his stutter! Little things like this make the game so cool. :D Indeed, the more of these little things, the merrier. Sumnmary of ...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

Another question!! (the more I play, the more questions I have)

3-Regarding the Tirpitz ship in Norway. If I conquer Britain, am I free to use it as I like? It's a shame leaving it there.

Hi again. Mcguba thanks again for the creating the most addictive game in my life.
