Possible to mod in missions?

Just wondering. I've been trying to make a Gemini mission where you go to the Moon with a one-man lander, along my another attempt at trying to add in the Manned orbital Labatory (Yes, I have a obsessesion with space outposts). But is it currently possible? I've been trying all I can at it, and I'm ...

Cheers,
Amazing. :D

Will the Soviet LK landers be an option?
And will Soviet manned missions to the "red" (Get it?) Planet be available in part two?

Re: [0.7.6] Saturn Probe Missions Missing

The missions for the Saturn Flyby probes are missing. I'll try to fit them in the update for next week. Lots of changes this week, though, you'll now be able to tinker around with the development tools :) Cheers, I'm already messing around with the hope of creating a whole new mission (Gemini Manne...

Re: [SUGGESTION] Unlocking missions

I personally believe that if you perform the Mercury Missions without X-15, there should be a much higher opening cost (For example, from $525 to $1900), slower R&D Progression (40% than if the X-15 already happened), along with a reliablty penalization (89% on flight would go down to 79% when l...

Re: What will be after Road to the Moon?

As title suggests. So, Road to the moon will include up to, Skylab? MIR? Shuttle Era? Or will the second episode include the Shuttle, Mir and that You got it. Episode Two is from 1970-2020. Apollo Appliccations Programme (Manned Venus and Mars flybys), different types of moonbases, Skylab, space sh...

http://i.imgur.com/b9G9GUN.png I'm going to upload a tutorial for this soon. Savefile editing, coming up! Or, to put it in less "cheaty terms", I gave each of my mission controllers a manual, a coffee machine, and tons of notepaper and told them to memorize it all or face dismissal. As yo...

Re: Partial failures

( Luckily, some players kindly offered themselves to give me a hand in order to create a big list of possible mission failures, so that will make its way as well into a future build. Do you have more small projects like this that need to be done? Judging by the community here already, I imagine tha...

Re: BASPM, Basic File Modding

(ie assets, and I think someone mentioned the videos were xml scripts also, but I couldn't find those). For the moment those scripts are embedded in the big binary file located inside the data folder. I could extract those out, but the problem is that the images we use are stored in a special type ...

Re: NASA's NetworKing

Has anyone else ever seen this program? It runs right in your browser, no download needed. It is a simulation to help the player understand the various networks of satellites flying , and what they do. Without these satellites, many of the missions we undertake in BASPM would have no means of commu...

Re: Number of seasons per year

I fully support the addition of four years. As of now, it's nearly impossible to follow a historical schedule without falling into deep debt, as there are too few seasons (And so, R&D progresses slowly and flights are limited per year), and the gap widens greatly as the years go by (My first man...

It seems like some files might have glitched, or something broke with the coding.

I'll download the files and test them out.

I am very excite! Personally I hope they are implemented sooner rather than later. In my opinion right now the sandbox is directionless without the moon landings. Being able to complete the goal of the game would go a long way to making it more interesting! Directionless? The direction of the early...

Also, it would be nice that once the countries of Europe, Japan, and China get developed, we could see more agencies pop up, led by different leaders. So now, instead of working with militaries and companies, you could now work on massive projects with other agencies. This could also mean that, for ...

Re: Spacestations in Episode 1

I like the idea of having to resupplying SpaceStations on a regular basis, or else their Orbit begins to decay and eventually burn up. Will there still be an astronaut on board once or twice? Depending on the spacestation, SkyLab, Mir, or ISS, they all need to have an expiration date, pro...

Re: Gemini and moon

Having the possiblity of a lunar Gemini would certainly be interesting. Maybe a little riskier and less prestigious than the Apollo program, as only one astronaut could land on the Moon, and bring back less samples ? The lunar Gemini craft is already inside the game XML files...it'll most likely co...

It would also be nice to have a Finanical Officer who oversees the expenses, and will warn you once the income slips into the negatives, and will warm you again if he/she feels you are going on an unsustainable course (Bankrupcty)
