Re: Multiplayer

Hey guys, Pandora is amazing and multiplaying it must really increase the experience. How is the community growing into this? I've only looked once, and it was devoid of any living soul. Just wanted to ask if there has been some activity in that sector or if there is someone willing to play a regula...

Re: Status Report - Getting To Release

Releasing the game with 2/3 of the content missing is just as bad as releasing the game with said content inaccessible due to bugs. When can we expect mid/late game content and will it be DLC that we need to pay for? The game doesn't have content missing. He said they decided to leave some stuff to...

Re: I keep forgetting about taxes

I too plus one on this. I am very adverse to micro-managing and am happy to say that this game is indeed very good at avoiding it. But I do like the idea of individual tax rate for each city, that is without the population buttons, we can further tune where we want more population. Further more it a...

Re: All Alien Life Killed Off?

Plus one on that. I also did feel tha the aliens, in the mid to late game, become very scarce and weak. At one point I intently sent out my troops to clear out all remaining hives. Its something that's definitely missing in the game. As time goes on and depending on factors as global pollution and p...

Re: Request For Mac and Linux Testing

I am happy to report that I've tried the new version on OSX 10.7.5 and it runs smoothly.
I'll be giving some final feedback on what I think should be worked before release.

Re: Pandora Preview Video

I'll be brutally honest though, probably too much so. The video has a horrible framerate. I'm not sure many people would enjoy it much like that. Thanks for the feedback Sephirok, and sorry for the framerate stuff. It seems ok to me though, the video is regular 30 fps and the game wasn't that slow ...

Re: Pandora New Beta Playthrough Videos

Hey, I've tried to make a showcase of game in this video, not sure how good it actually is.

And I have in my mind to make a whole gameplay series about it in the near future.

Re: Civ 5 Engine?

Conquest was an amazing tactical war game. Unfortunately it had almost no attention at all.
Would great idea would be to expand on the game to have sort of those historical war genre.

Re: Pandora Preview Video

Do you remember this is a Closed beta so far ? You should ask the devs before you upload game information ! I did, in fact I even asked if there were something in particular that they wanted me to show. But any feedback about the video itself? I've decided to redo the talking with the same footage,...

Pandora Preview Video

Hey folks, I would to ask for little bit of attention, especially from the developers. I've finished and uploaded a video to Youtube, with intention of it being sort of a preview/showcase video of the game. Recording it was excruciating, I had to repeat a lot of times. So I would like to know( speci...

Re: After Action Reports Wanted!

Really cool, maybe I'll create a series of reports on video with a nice history to them, problem though is that Pandora usually takes hours of play. On Debian system I've assigned the print screen key to take a print of an area with ctrl+print being the whole screen. Gnome has that embedded within i...

Re: Mac - moving units issue

Just so you can be sure:
You select with left mouse, right mouse on where you want to move, the selected unit will open a small interface on the left-bottom side of the screen.
You'll need two button mouse, or enable it if using magic mouse( which you should enable anyway).

Re: Installing: Windows vs. Linux

I had observed something similar. It seems that in my linux version the initial loading( loading meshes etc) takes a while, in linux it was only the first time. Using the windows version always takes a very long time for the initial loading, about 20 minutes or so. Although my version is windows thr...

How I got it working on OsX 10.7.5

Hello Folks. at first I wanted to ask the developers to support OS X 10.7.5 Lion, as Apple OS upgrade is not free and usually not always "better". So I, along with other people i think, am very reluctant to upgrade Apple OS as it might brake a lot of stuff I have tweaked and installed alon...

Awesome, it might work work on OsX 10.7? I will give it a try. In any way I got it working flawlessly and I 'll share it how in another thread.
With linux I hadn't any issue, working out of the box on Debian 64-bit. cheers!

It seems the updater quits before finishing...
