Re: Headquarters: World War II - Dev log #4 - “Terrain rules the battle”

Nice! The tactical placement options on offence and defence will be a lot if fun.

Re: Headquarters World War II - Dev log #1

Olexandr or other Devs.

What is the x1.2 multiplier at the end of the final accuracy calculation?

I see what all of the other numeric modifiers are but not this one. Is it something to do with experience or some other intangible? The Pz4 and the Sherman have the same value in the screenshot.

Re: Headquarters World War II - Dev log #1

Looking forward to that! Trying to get my head around the full damage calcs and failing miserably so far 😄 Probably needs dev 2 and a verbal run through. P.s. we're following what is happening with drones and missiles to infrastructure and civilian targets in Ukrainian cities. My heart goes out to y...

Re: Headquarters World War II - Dev log #1

Hi Looking forward to this as I'm a big Starni fan, not so much zoomed in company level tactical games, so this seems a bit of a departure for Starni. Three comments in the devblog, 2 sound picky but I am wondering whether I understand what is being said about the combat calculator or whether it is ...

Re: Any mooar new on this?

The grid makes me think of Battle Academy. Hey. I've played 1000's of hours of both the Starni Games titles (Strategic Mind games) and Battle Academy 1 and 2. I can guess with a degree of confidence that you probably aren't far wrong with your observation, except for at least 3 major differences if...

Re: Order of Battle - Join the Beta Tournament

I'm in! So cool an idea for such a great game that so many folks are unaware of. I am playing PC2 and the excellent (and much improved) SM: Blitzkrieg, but both have stolen ideas from OoB and none are quite as visceral, intense, immersive and challenging. (but they have better graphics, so that's pr...

Should look like this:

yea that's where it is, but doesn't appear. The other ones do. Baffled here..

The folder has a data and graphics sub folder and a changelog.

Re: The "Gabe-Mod" (v8.4.1)

Hi, Does the Gabe mod not appear in the Mods screen at the start after launch to select it like other Mods such as BoB and Finland? I've installed it in the correct Mods folder. It is there along with 2 other mods (which appear at start up to select, or not) but Gabe's Mod isn't listed.. I've had a ...

Re: Erik's Singleplayer scenarios

This has really made my day :) I've longed for a 'full scale' Market Garden Campaign in the style of the old classic by D.T. Smith from 1985 for years, never to have found one. The 1985 Arnhem (which was really an entire Market Garden simulation which started on the Spectrum and was ported to DOS). ...

Re: Order of Battle: World War II - v8.4.4 Update

Hey folkses, I am *very much* enjoying the Market Garden mega-Scenario, Market Garden, in my view, is an often neglected or poorly implemented campaign (in its own right). Usually the map too small, or there is neglect of the criticality of the OOB and reinforcement cycle and sometimes a lack of und...

Re: Panzer Corps 2 to be released on March 19th

Not a lost sale yet, but why is it not available here yet? When it goes up on steam is out of your control, but your own homepage is not! Ok, at what time and timezone will you release it here or is it linked to steam? What I had hoped would happen (setting aside a 9am release as I had put aside th...

Re: Panzer Corps 2 to be released on March 19th

Sorry to say that I don't see it here. I'm not playing this thing on steam where you have you game play analyzed and posted for all to see. I'm tired of waiting for this game and hearing nothing but steam. Not here, no word, not looking any more. Lost a sale. Not a lost sale yet, but why is it not ...
