Re: Repair and Update Units must be together
Well the choices are either a 1 turn delay or nothing when adding the commander. Neither are perfect.

What does this mean
Sometimes units will have a the letter T in a small circle next to their icon. What does that mean?

Re: Frequently asked questions or FAQ
I am trying to switch to the higher RAM setting but I must be missing something. Even uninstalling and re-installing doesn't give me the choice again. What am I missing? Where do you go to get the Low Ram 0 and what do you do, change it to 1 or what?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Zoom levels
I am having difficulty seeing the units on the map. The manual says the + key zooms in. The only zoom I get is either the square counters or the icon which are really small and hard to distinguish what units belong to who. I am playing on a laptop without a mouse so I can't wheel in and hitting the ...

Re: Is the grand campaign worth it?
I start playing and I get free units with odd heroes. This bomber with hero that give bad combat stat but more potting then a infantry with hero that gives more movement. Is there a list for these units with heroes? Save that hero with the bad stats, it is early Rudel! If he is deployed is a certai...

Re: Few suggestions
IF they release Soviet corps it will be a quick $$$. Basically PC, but from Soviet side. Its been 4 years since this game came out. True but just last year they issued a major update that changed the way the game played. I don't think we will see anything like that for PC again as it is pretty soli...

Re: Few suggestions
You guys realize this game have been abandoned for over a year, right? Any changes at this point must be modded in. Abandoned!?! What are you talking about? I just got this game and am hopeful that they will be doing Soviet Corps soon and I still plan on getting Africa Corps and Allied Corps. This ...

Re: Few suggestions
You already can make units as rare as you want. Just only buy 1.
I like the idea of AT defensive fire. Since they were generally spread out for support it seems like this would be a better representation of how they were used as opposed to an entire unit of AT guns holding a stretch of the front.

Re: Tipps for playing the Battlefield Europe mod
I considered it, but i dont like that my destroyers would suffer damage - especially considering how precious prestige is. Also, as mines can attack units adjacent to them, you would have to destroy 2 minefields if you wanted to get closed enough to Leningrad to shoot, but without suffering any dam...

I think the base unit is not 10 SP so maybe it is already overstrengthed?kanniethexen wrote:I would not overstrength the Gustav, don't worry . It's just a theoretical question. I like to know the why's and how's of the design of this battle.

Re: Tipps for playing the Battlefield Europe mod
What should you do with the fleet in the Baltic? Due to mines, they can't be used to take out Lenningrad. So i figure either send them to help take out the Atlantic convoys or send them to the Mediterranean. Due to Gibraltar though, the Mediterranean seems kind of risky... Any tips on what best to ...

Re: What Was the First Computer Wargame You Played?
You can still buy East Front, West Front and Rising Sun as a bundle. It is still being updated and improved. I've been playing them a lot lately. There is a big update due in 2016. If you like the game system you can check out the forum at Matrix for info. I did, and played it the last week. I like...

Re: PC Base campaign advice please
Well, that was ... instructive. :) Got my head handed to me. Overstrength FW 190As are NO match for the Ami air force. They suffered horrendous casualties on the attack, and made out even worse when attacked in return. Forts and Troops can hurt transports a lot worse here in PC-land than I thought ...

Re: A surrounded fighter escaped!
You can move your friendly ground units through each other (there are games where that is not possible). So without ZoC the one-unit-one-tile-rule seems to apply only for the end of the movement. That said, it would seem to be reasonable to let the enemy fighter escape but with some penalty on his ...

Re: A surrounded fighter escaped!
In Norway my mounted artillery was attacked by an Allied fighter. The next turn I wanted to attack that fighter with my fighters (I had 3 fighters) but it was raining. To prevent that fighter from escaping I surrounded the enemy with 6 of my aircraft (tactical bomber, transport, fighters and level ...
