Re: Invisible fighter escort?

A few probing questions- 1- What's the Ju88 bombing? 2- Does the Canadian fighter engage the Ju when it drops its eggs? 3- And does any AA fire or invisible fighter fire come out of the truck's hex? 4- If you were playing against a human, he might have tweaked something to disguise his AA gun as a ...

Re: Forgotten Units Mod and stuff...

I've always been aware that there variations, but though the editor just selected the one that was more proper in the context. But I really like what you discovered about the rough desert. Wish I knew about that when I created the Afrika Korps campaign :( Anyway, I'll pay more attention in my next s...

Re: Invisible fighter escort?

So why the red cross indicating some protection? A quick control question in advance: you've got some of those "lost specs" activated in the scen by any chance? Of course, it is late 1944 and lots of nice specs available for all players :D You're probably on to something. But we've played quite a f...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Correct. There's a campaign message when you reach Crete: "The remnant British, Greek, Australian and New Zealand force have fled from Greece to Crete. General Studen has persuaded OKH that a paradrop attack by the 7.Flieger Div is the best way to capture the large island. You may select your prefer...

Invisible fighter escort?

Here's an odd one. The German bomber obviously has some guarding angel over the US truck. But there is no German fighter hovering over the truck. The British fighter to the left is able to move onto the truck. And the Canadian fighter cannot switch target to the invisible enemy. So why the red cross...

Re: Regarding template.png

If you mean the map template used as an underlay, the correct file is template.jpg.
There are zillions of maps floating around the internet.
A good source for free quality maps (many military maps as well) is https://legacy.lib.utexas.edu/maps/

I don't think there's any official scenario with that name.
If it is a custom scenario you need to contact the designer.

I can confirm this. Calculation of airfield supply doesn't account for terrain ownership.

Re: Still can't do the random appearance trigger setup

Sorry, you can't clone units. Adding units etc is a very manual process.
But duplicating units is a very good idea which would save a lot time.

Another picture....
Note that everything custom; campaigns, scenarios and mods go into their specific folders under My Games etc.

Re: Still can't do the random appearance trigger setup

bebro, I'm borrowing your infamous Sweden/China-study.
I would really like to use random triggers a lot, but I think the game's implementation of these are cumbersome.
Here's hoping for a simple % randomness trigger :D

Re: [Gameplay Bug][Turns pr day calulation]

I've only checked this specific scenario. bebro; That explanation left me feeling like this  ( :D ) Why would multiple alliances have an effect on the calculation of turns pr day? When adherbal tipped me about using the date function a long way back he didn't caution me about number of allianc...

2v1 Scandinavia 1940 5.0

2v1 Scandinavia 1940 5.0 This is a complete rework. Reduced number of Allied/neutral factions from 3 to 2. Player 1 = Norway/Britain/France/Poland/Canada. This allows the historical Allied nations to use the same airfield and port facilities. Player 2 = Denmark/Sweden. Denmark would most probably fa...
