Re: So I bought this book the other day...

I'd recommend all books by Thomas Anderson or Michael Green - informative and written well, so they are an easy read despite the level of detail. They do not have as many schematics and tables for fans of statistical info, but illustrate the timeline, development and doctrine quite well. Got a samp...

Now that you mention it, another AA vehicle we're so far overlooked is the Coelian. https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-n12pqvjack/images/stencil/1280x1280/products/35114/100287/tak2105-135-takom-flakpanzer-panther-coelian-with-37mm-flakzwilling-341-and-20mm-flakvierling-mg15120-2-in-1-squadron-model-mo...

So I bought this book the other day...

I swear this is not an ad, just an amusing story. So I bought a book, just for fun and something to read. Naturally it's a WWII book, because yea. It was this book. https://www.amazon.com/German-Tanks-World-War-1939-1945/dp/1782747265 I figured that would be a fun thing to have, something in print w...

Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure

There's just something amusing about an Italian/Japanese invasion of the United States getting their hands on atomic weapons.

That's not an alternate history I've seen anywhere ever. 100% original, and I'm all about it.

Re: Field Marshal Manstein named dropped in the News

"The solution devised by German commanders, notably the legendary Field Marshal Erich von Manstein, was a mobile defense that would take advantage of German tactical and operational prowess, especially of the elite panzer (tank) divisions." It's amazing to see Manstein described as 'legend...

This is probably more accurate than you realize. Minus the warm beach, I enjoy my chilly and cloudy San Francisco weather.

Ah, so if I read between the lines this means that you are not currently involved in the current content that Marco mentioned is in development on Twitch. Can you confirm or deny? Sure, if they can say Pacific was 'a different team' I can say the current content is also a 'different team'. :) I'm s...

Re: AO mechanics and ideas retrospective

AO1941 and AO1942 These mostly built on existing mechanics, so I am not sure if there is a major new thing to take note of. It's been a while since 1941, I'd have to go back and look in detail. I remember it being lighter on mechanics to focus on new unit models and making it the largest DLC to dat...

Re: Panzer Corps 2 Pacific DLC Shelved

Will there be an improvement in sound effects before ? This was actually slated to be a part of the larger Pacific package... so unfortunately I'm not sure about the fate of that upgrade. :( As I'm sure several people noticed, we turned on Japanese unit models for 1946 (and added more new units, su...

AO1945 Again mostly more of 1944, so not that many new thighs to discuss unless I missed something important. Was that a Freudian slip? Just in case it wasn't though, I'll share some thighs with you. Just to cover all my bases, ya know? https://i.imgur.com/qavRbme.jpg :!: :!: :!: Several mo...

Re: Panzer Corps 2 Pacific DLC Shelved

I would assume that the naval battles are the biggest problem. On land you got supply lines, close tiles open tiles, rivers mountains, hills, enttrenchment a lot of stuff that affects strategic decision outside of used units and encountered uitns. right now you have water as only terrain and units ...
