Is there a chance of a river crossing map in an update

One thing I would like to see in the game is at least one map where there is a river to cross (could be two or three squares wide). Crossing a river would put heavy soldiers and heavy cavalry in a disadvantaged position. So to be able to do that as successfully as possible you would have to plan it ...

Re: Ideas for Panzer Corps 2

If there were to be a Panzer Corps 3. Here is what I think would make me more interested in playing the game: Larger maps (smaller and a larger amount of hexagons on the maps) to make it possible to have more units on the maps which also would make the game more tactical as there would be more space...

Too easy to use artillery with their ability to see through obstacles

One thing in connection to artillery and forts I don't like very much and which could be changed is that terrain doesn't obstruct their view and thus their ability to shoot. It would have been better if it was required for another friendly unit to have clear sight of the enemy and thus report the en...

Re: Field of Glory II Silk Road Mod updated to v1.7

Will there be an update of the Silk Road Mod now when the main game has been updated? Or is maybe Jomni too busy with other projects?

Re: Spanish Allies for Andalusian Muslims - is that correct?

According to Wikipedia (a source many don't trust) it says about Al-Andalus For much of its history, al-Andalus existed in conflict with Christian kingdoms to the north. After the fall of the Umayyad caliphate, al-Andalus was fragmented into minor states and principalities. Attacks from the Christia...

Spanish Allies for Andalusian Muslims - is that correct?

Hello everyone on the forum. I decided to play a game with a Frankish unit set-up vs an Andalusian one. To be able to experience fighting against other units I also decided to have the Andalusian army being able to bring in allies. I was pretty certain their allies would be either Moroccan or other ...

Re: Field of Glory II Silk Road Mod updated to v1.7

Any chans of getting a download link I can use outside of the game (like with the TT-mod and the patches)? I have no internet at home and don't want to bring my computer to the library or local pub to download v1.7 of the mod.

Re: Rise of AI Global Mod updated to v2.3

If this mod is found in "Documents/My Games/FieldofGlory2/Mods", wouldn't it be possible to download the mod from outside the game and then copy the files into the directory above like we can do with the TT-mod and the patches? I have no internet at home and would find it easier to downloa...

Oh, yeah.
I haven't played for a while and totally forgot about AP and units sometimes getting locked by other units.
Thanks for reminding me about those things.

I actually now don't remember whether I moved them first. That could maybe be the reason.

But couldn't they just turn and shoot? There's not even that option for them.

Wanna meet at the battle field?

Hi folks, I've had Sengoku Jidai for some time but not played it much for the last couple of years because I got busy with Field of Glory II and one of the Combat Mission games as well as work. But I thought it could be great to play against someone for a test of how decent I am as a general. I don'...

Slingers and javelinmen "out of arc" although standing close enough

What's the reason for the game to not allowing the slingers or javelinmen to shoot at the different enemy sections although they clearly are within reach? Does the reason for this have anything to do with the fact that they both are standing in the marshes? I wouldn't believe it has anything to do w...

Re: Archers too weak

It's interesting how two sentences about longbows can cause such a "heated" discussion. No wonder some nations use political agitators to stir up trouble before they come in to "take control" of the situation by occupation. What I actually was thinking about with my words above w...

Battle of Agincourt at 1415 with English longbow men and French knights could be interesting.
