Re: After Action Report - The Battle of Britain - Luftwaffe viewpoint
Battle 6 : DUAL BETWEEN EAGLES Deployments : RAF 9x Spitfires: Luftwaffe 8x Me109 Objectives : What else to say? Shoot each other down and cause the enemy to withdraw. Tactical Assessment : The situation at the onset of the engagement is more than somewhat confused! Both sides have 3 groups of fight...

Re: Two Multi-player games with apparent desynchronization or similar
The same problem has happened twice more. That is that a player receives a 'ready' message on the Lobby Board but once in the game that game has hung up with a message 'waiting for other player' (to make a move). So no further progress can be made. That is now a prevalence rate of 4 from 16 games (2...

Battle 4 : INTO THE DARKNESS (continued) Flying straight through the bomber formation with all guns blazing the Blenheims cause havoc! The Hurricanes below also put in useful attacks. The rear right bomber is gravely damaged and tumbles out of formation and crashes in flames. Attempting to avoid the...

attle 3 : IMPOSSIBLE MISSION Deployments: RAF 6x Hurricanes and 6x Battle bombers : Luftwaffe 6x Me109s Objectives : A little bit different this one! (Previous scenarios were set during the early months of the war rather than the Battle of Britain as such.) So, the blitzkrieg into France has begun a...

Two Multi-player games with apparent desynchronization or similar
Hi Tech Support I currently have two two-player games which have become unplayable because although in the lobby they are listed as 'ready' for me to take my turn, when I 'enter game' the game states 'waiting for other player' (to make a move). I am still in contact with one of the players and the t...

After Action Report - The Battle of Britain - Luftwaffe viewpoint
Although I am a bit late coming to this, I have decided to write up an AAR. No in-game pictures from the very beginning but there will be some from later battles. I intend to post some graphics though. So, a few days ago I found a worthy opponent (anonymous for the time being) and we agreed to fight...

Re: My Experience with Multiplayer
The multiplayer option can be played in both modes: like a pbem or like a live on-line game. But just to be clear, both options are one and the same in terms of access via the game lobby. If both players are on-line together then the game processes and updates immediately. If only one player is on-l...

My Experience with Multiplayer
Last week I wrote about my feeling for the game playing against the AI (see my post 'My Experience with Check Your 6!'). Since then I have had the good fortune to find opponents using the in-game lobby, and what a different experience it is! The game really comes into its own as a two-player game. I...

Hi Davidov
I have seen this old message just now. I see why we need to exchange email addresses to keep the game active once we start.
I will send you an email, and set up a game.
Good luck

My Experience with 'Check Your 6!'
When I first began wargaming I quickly realised that I did not like games which took longer to play than the events they portrayed. By and large I have kept to that maxim. So I was quite surprised when I decided to buy 'Check Your 6!' in a mega-sale, I suppose on impulse, because inevitably this gam...

Hi
I've set-up a 2-player game on the standard internet portal if anyone is interested.
Also, I have accepted another game (there's no data on when it was created!) but had no response from Galland its originator

Re: Unable to access the BA manual
Hi Pip
The target in the link is as follows: http://www.slithdata.net/files/bbc_ba/B ... ual_DE.pdf
The mod links etc are also targetted through slithdata.net and all produce a message 'slithdata.net' did not respond and is timed out (about 40 seconds)

Unable to access the BA manual
I bought this tidy little game in the sale and need to learn the ropes as it were. I was surprised to find that my download version, which works fine, has only a web link to the manual, and has no pdf or text copy. I have been unable to access this online manual as the server is timed out every time...
