This are 2 different things .... If you play an spcific battle - then the start positions and army size and units musst be the same as in the historical battle ... but this dont mean the outcome is every play the same - but you are right - it "cant" full differ, as the terrain, start values are alwa...

But the "what if" only matters have the outcome an realistic value ...
If it only an unacurat simulation - then the outcome maybe is at your liking - but nothing that would happen in real ... so (for me) pointless ...

I say not all "musst" have the same size (the size the game rules and values designed for ...) But at last the officiell scenarios should have all the "right" size - and custom scenarious can be marked as "Different Size = x KM Hex" .. so the player where like to stay on the more accurat simulation ...

@ Erik2 sorry - i was not clear :) The problem is the Strategic Map (btw- what you show and name "map" would i name playfield ....) many loadable scenarios dont fit right the "Strategic Map" or so large, you dont see anything clear ... and so useless... would suggest to the patches - a sensefull map viewer interface ... Actual - the map is not scrollable, not zoomable and lack anything from get fast and easy infos out of it ... (toggleable markers and with with alternate colors if the marker color match to close the underground color as example ......

Hi, have atm an play with an friend in "Road to Leningrad" .... Nice scenario - but the scale is "way off" .. If i look at an real map - the distance from Pskow to St.Petersburg (leningrad in this Time Frame..) is ~320km ... On the OoB Map it is ~28 Hexfields ... so an hex ~10km ... this is way to ...

Hi, i like the game and it is most times realy fine :) But .. have last time installed a couple of community created scenarios/campaigns .. All is going nice .. except the discreptions/additional Texts ... I understand the community created content is maked in the free time, and as a result you cant...
