C-130s dropping supplies in this game, C-130s dropping the MOAB, C-130s doing artillery work and precision bombing...
Can't we just replace every unit with C-130s already and call it done?

Re: Beautiful game, but a bit too easy
Well, as someone who still finds it not easy at all, even on normal difficulty... perhaps you can share your tips with the rest of us on how you managed to crack the winning formula?

Why not the B-1B? Those things did a lot of work in Afghanistan, both from high up with the SNIPER pod and low down

Re: MOAB in testing
I think it's great! We'll have to see what it does in balance terms soon, but it sounds like your solution is in no way a game breaker! And as much as I hate to reduce it to that - honestly, is the kind of feature that WILL get press and probably nab a few extra sales. For that alone I think it's wo...

Re: ZOOM?
This is only tangentially related, but I was wondering - in the game's main 3D world, would it be possible to (optionally) display village names and maybe some of the other icons/data that's currently only on the map screen?

Re: WTF
Sounds like there are DLCs planned already 8) And agreed - I have to confess that if it weren't for the subject matter, I wouldn't have gotten interested... but I'm glad I was, because this game is a clever little gem. I'm definitely recommending it to people! Vietnam '65 is very much worth playing ...

Re: looking forward to master this game
I've not had problems with it - just make sure you put your unit in the repair bay hex and do not move it at all for a full turn (I.e. let it skip one full turn in the bay with no movement at all).giffin wrote:Yes I am confused on how "Repairs" work in new FOB need some help please. thanks!

Re: looking forward to master this game
I'm loving it :) I'm impressed how well the game has come along even since the beta, great work Johan & co. :D I'd first started playing this game and quickly realized that it's not a good approach - despite the seemingly high level of abstracting, the game presents a messy situation and trying ...

Re: Afghanistan '11 1.0.8 Public Beta is Available!
I just wanted to mention that I get the lag as well - in my case, the game hangs at the end of a unit's turn for several seconds (i.e. either when it runs out of action points, or when you manually put the unit on standby). It starts to be noticeable about 10 turns into a session. By turn 20, it bec...

Re: Armored Brigade Is Officially Announced!
It was actually not so much a demo as a freeware game - and a really one for a one-person hobby project :) I'm happy to see it going into commercial development. It's a great way forward, and has lots of potential. I think Armored Brigade is already a very elegant design, with very straightforward c...
