Re: AI Advantage Question and General Scheme of Things Q

If you don't have the end turn save right before it happened, it is very unlikely that the same event happens. I am almost sure that it was due to some objective reward or state decision (in some cases this is allowed in rewards of particular objectives) and the message is the same, however it is no...

You are welcome stormbringer.

Re: Annex question.

Once you annex a country, there is no way back, the player is terminated. He can come back to life in a civil war but it has nothing to do with breaking a federation.

Re: AI Advantage Question and General Scheme of Things Q

I am really surprised by the first point. AI behaves exactly the same way as human player, so this is either misunderstanding (And something else caused that like state decision or objective) or a bug. Do you have an end turn save file right before this happened? If you do, can you send it over? I w...

Re: points victory for scenarios

So the program expects there will be at least 1 bonus city and if there are none at all it crashes. I cannot tell you why it was crashing before (you would need to send me that ag file) but I can say for sure that this is not the reason. There is no mandatory rule to have at least one bonus city in...

Hello dejvid,
I am happy you are making progress on this but what do you mean that victory points map must have at least city?

Re: points victory for scenarios

Hello dejvid2, victory points have to be set manually per scenario (there is no auto-generated victory points map) and there is no functionality to set this in the game (in the editor). If you decide to create your own victory points map, please keep in mind that this winningPoints values must exact...

Re: Ptolemies never accept Athenian treaties

Well, it would be logical that if someone buys goods, it would be cheaper to buy it locally than buying it after it is transport.

Re: Ptolemies never accept Athenian treaties

Hello dejvid2, you got a point. It would make more sense to be able to trade even when only one player knows where to transport the goods. In such situation the overhead costs (of the player who is just trading without trasporting) would be much higher. I will think about it. Thank you for pointing ...

Re: Cyprus Scenario

Looks really interesting! It seems like winning Cyprus is a key to win the game, correct (considering the number of mines there)? If I may, I would recommend to upload this scenario to Steam workshop as well, which would make it much easier for players to browse it, download it and play it directly ...

Re: is there a way to play the game with WINE on MacOS

There is no way to "turn on" media features in WINE or Crossover as it is possible in Windows. I didn't really expect that. I posted it just to show you the "grouping" of these features and I hoped that it will remain you similar settings of WINE. Unfortunately there is nothing weird in the log and...

Re: is there a way to play the game with WINE on MacOS

Still no sound. I am really sorry to hear that but I am almost 100% sure that the problem is in that Windows service component. Strange. I have other games, including Matrix games, that use wma and mp3 files to reproduce sound and music. The best example would be Field of Glory II, using Matrix new...

About the sound issue, I am not sure, but WINE is already using the appropriate native wmp codec (l3codeca.acm)...
It is not about codec but about a system component which might be turned off. Due to that, the game asks the compoent to play a sound but the component is not listening

Re: is there a way to play the game with WINE on MacOS

There are two things - WMP (Windows media player) as an application and media player as a Windows service feature Did you install the feature? If so I am a bit diappointed that it didnt help because I was really expecting it to solve the problem. BTW, is there an option to use the hardware mouse ico...
