Re: Order of Battle WWII graphics

Relax. It is what it is and I am saying that to you as a fellow customer, not as an official by any means. Sure, they should never have released 7.1.8 in the first place without taking a look at the unit graphics. To fix the problem probably took time, hence the delay. We have word that it's resolve...

Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.8

Raine, make sure you are updated to 7.1.8. BoB was broken in 7.1.4 and fixed in 7.1.6 or 7.1.8.

Re: True Japanese & US commanders

Apologies, because it's a bit of a non-sequitur for this thread, but this fellow: commander_87.png turns out to be this person IRL, " The Mighty Jingles ": marquee-composite2-630x210.jpg The clue was the use of commander_87 in the Battle of Britain mod and their referring to him as "JINGLES": Image0...

Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.8

It's mid july ... is there any update on this bug? Which one? In recent times, the procedure has been to correct bugs with the patch that comes out with a new DLC, if one is forthcoming soon. Red Star is on its way, and it's been reported in beta that among other things, they "Fixed graphical artef...

Nonsense. Start with the Scenario Editor Manual which is linked to in the first post of this thread.

Re: CSI Sweep: US Corps 1943-44

Anzio Link-up v. 1.0 An orphan here: Screenshot 23.jpg Briefings: "Reconnaissance planes spotted several German vehicles which we have not seen so far on the field of battle." [Insert space between "so" and "far."] "In ten(?) turns or less, all objectives must be captured." [The scenario is 18 turns...

Re: CSI Sweep: US Corps 1943-44

Anzio Breakout v. 1.0 Since this is the last scenario in this branch of the campaign, it doesn't seem very useful to be awarding specialisation points. Perhaps you might consider resource points which would be helpful for the rest of the scenario: Screenshot 16.jpg These two sets of triggers need to...

Re: CSI Sweep: US Corps 1943-44

Anzio Defense v. 1.0 (continued) This trigger is exactly the same as the one in Anzio Landing. Same spawned units, same popup message, even the same target hexes: Screenshot 12.jpg Screenshot 13.jpg I don't think you meant it to occur twice. Then I thought, "Oh, maybe it's in a different Crossroads ...

Re: CSI Sweep: US Corps 1943-44

Anzio Defense v. 1.0 "After much ebb and flow, several series of attacks and counter attacks, the frontline has changed." [Remove the "l" from in front of "changed."] Slightly more than half of German land units are not assigned to any AI teams. Orphanage 1: Screenshot 1.jpg Orphanage 2: Screenshot ...

Re: New DLC's and console

Secondly, weren't we asked for "patience" on the console development a month ago?? We have not talked about this so far in this thread. Basically, we have to have patience; we forum moderators are not told anything - not that we expect it - so all we know is what we all read when one of the develop...

Re: New DLC's and console

Yeah, thanks. I just feel that a Western Allies Normandy Campaign with an emphasis on the Stars and Stripes would be the bellwether DLC for OOB. I just don't understand how you make a WWII game covering campaigns all over the globe and leave out one of the most important, if not the most important ...

We'll have to wait and see, unless you want to join the beta team (and whether they are still accepting applications).

Re: CSI Sweep: US Corps 1943-44

Anzio Landing v. 1.0 (continued) I'm wondering about these two triggers: Screenshot 12.jpg Screenshot 13.jpg They are both set to activate when there is a "Capture VP Event" and the Germans own these hexes. The problem is, they already own these hexes from the start. You have both teams heading for ...

Re: CSI Sweep: US Corps 1943-44

Anzio Landing v. 1.0 (continued) Anyway, going back to this trigger, it's got the wrong objective for "Set Objective State": Screenshot 1.jpg as does this one (remember by the way, if you take my suggestion above, to also change this trigger to Class = Tank; Unit Type = M10 Wolverine / M18 Hellcat):...

Re: CSI Sweep: US Corps 1943-44

Anzio Landing v. 1.0 Wrong alliance for this trigger (it's the reason why the Turn Overview window shows a count of 0 Panzer units instead of 7 to start): Screenshot 7.jpg Here's a quibble for you. Tank destroyers are included in this objective: Screenshot 8.jpg and presumably they are supposed to b...

Re: New DLC's and console

Actually, it looks like terminator started out with a campaign in mind, or a jumbo scenario (see his first few screenshots), hence the title "Beaches of Normandy." However, he ended up zooming in and concentrating on one beach, Omaha, and left it at that. I just looked through the Beta 2 version, th...

Re: New DLC's and console

I believe there is - at least there has been talk of - a Liberation Trilogy as a concept for future official DLC but, as you may have noticed, the current DLC under development is Red Star, a campaign from the Soviet perspective. So, no, you have not missed anything. There are a number of amateur ca...

Re: new News!

Well, I don't want to seem overly sarcastic ( ) but until recently, they were still announcing Sandstorm! Poor Endsieg got shafted, never mentioned at all. Maybe things are starting to perk up, marketing-wise and administratively?

Re: CSI Sweep: US Corps 1943-44

Cassino Breakthrough / Diadem v. 1.0 Oddly enough, I find myself advising someone with a great deal of experience in designing campaigns while I myself have very little of such experience! But when I do these sweeps, I look for anomalies. Things out of the ordinary that don't fit an expected pattern...
