Re: Leipzig map

I'm really interested in this game, but the lack of response to the OP's issue is putting me off.

Re: OOB Down The Road

How about an alternative history campaign on an allied invasion of Japan. That could be a sequel to both US Marines and Burma Road.

Re: OOB Down The Road

Given that OoB has covered less known areas of WW2, it would be good if it continued in this vein. The most obvious scenario would be the Russian invasion of Manchuria in 1945, pitting the Soviets against the Japanese. Another possibility is to cover alternate history such as operation Sealion or pe...

Re: Sengoku Jidai - Faction preview I - Japan

Good summary. I don't see any info on the other factions (please correct me if I'm mistaken).

One of the reasons why P&S is easier to play, is that I'm more familiar with the terms. A summary of the other factions would be helpful.

Re: Writing too small

Thanks for the link. I tried changing the resolution, but it did not change the size of the central box. Since I can't read the instructions comfortably, So it's no good for my laptop. I'll leave this for now. If I find myself playing more on the big OC, I'll consider it again. I had a similar situa...

Writing too small

I downloaded the free game from my steam and it loaded fine. My problem is that the writing in the middle panel is too tiny on my MS Surface laptop. I just can't read it with my current eyesight. Is there anything I can change to increase the size of the middle panel without affecting the gameplay? ...

Re: Enjoying the game

I have bought the game and I really like it. I find the game easy to play. I love the way the units are represented and how they position themselves. I like the chit pulling system to represent the FoW and the confusion of battle. My only regret is that we can only play one battle. I would love to s...

Re: Enjoying the game

I haven't played the game, but have viewed some battles on twitch and YouTube. I love the map and the unit symbols. I also love how the units change facing depending on positioning of enemies and allies. I love how you can see the battle lines form and move around the battlefield. The random turned ...

Re: Great Game but Improvements needed.

I don't have the game but have seen it on YouTube and Twitch. I agree that there could be more info on the battle with regards to casualties and VPs, where this is possible. I recon it would be difficult to state casualty figures. When a brigade, or indeed, adivision/corp is destroyed, it is not cle...

Re: Economic Power

Is there any way to see how the economic score is made up in the game? Also, is there anywhere in the game or on the web that tells us the number of points that each building (or other factor) contributes to economic power. That would be useful to plan building and expansion strategy. In the Calland...

Economic Power

What contributes to the determination of economic power? I I am playing the Calland campaign which requires ne to become a top 3 economic power. I have upgraded my provinces to the max and have over 200k gold. But I am far down the list. I tried conquering some provinces, but this reduced my economi...

Re: Manual says that you can upgrade your lands... but how?

I have hust completed the tutorial in the latest version. There is nothing in the tutorial that shows you how to updrade the level of your lands. Is this an omission?

BBC4 - Time Commanders

For anyone with access to the BBC, there is a new series of Time Commanders on at 9pm tonight (12 Dec). There will be three episodes, two covering Roman battles and one covering Waterloo. For those that are unaware, Time Commanders is a TV show where members of the public re-enact battles using an e...

Issue with tutorial

I bought Sovereignty by Steam today and downloaded it. I tried playing the Tutorial, but have become stuck. The tutorial tells me to move an army from Dragonhold into the Iron Barony. However, the game does not let me move the army because of a unit ability. I notice the army includes a High Guard u...

Re: How to find serial number?

For other games I bought, I found the serial numbers on the Matrix Games site.I suggest you try logging into Matrix Games using the same login.

For some reason, the serial number doesn't seem to be available on the Slitherine site.

Re: Earning medals

In my iPad version of the game, the text for the air assault badge says the following: "End the game with at least 4 hueys, 1 chinook and 1 cobra (veteran only)." So if the medal is not veteran only, I assume the text is wrong. By the way, I am not complaining about this. It is by no means...

Re: Rating System Thoughts

I doubt that they will develop this game further. Which is a shame because multiplayer races would work well under the static turn system. I also think the game would be more popular if online multiplayer was an option. The only way to compare results would be by leaderboard which could show Ariosto...

Re: Earning medals

I am fairly sure I missed out on the General Staff medal in the past while meeting the conditions.

Conversely, I obtained the Air Assault badge, a veteran medal, even though I have never played veteran.
