Re: Panzer Corps doesn't work with i-pad

Way to correct him AND reinforce the perception that a lot of gamers are socially retarded.

Unless, you know, the fact that he didn't type iPad caused you great emotional distress.

Same here. I think they have all the people they need. Would have been nice to receive some word, though.

Re: IOS Scenario Editor

Ok. But BA2 allows us to DL user made scenarios (including modded units). Can't we have that ability?

There ya go.

Hopefully I'm in the beta. If not, I'll snatch the thing up when it's released.

Re: Future New campaigns?

Oh that's not true. They have products they're continuing to support. DLC coming out for Armageddon -- Vietnam was updated not too long ago. They'll have stuff for Panzer Corps as long as people are playing that. This title never felt like it was going to have any content. I mean -- great, there wer...

Huh. That answers that. I wondered if my application to join the beta had been accepted. No invite here.

Oh well, hope the game comes out soon.

Re: Request after playing first two Rogue missions

Thank you! Helps a lot.

I've got the board game and some expansions ID'd for Christmas, and I'm trying to hawk a metric ton of x-wing minis so I don't have to wait that long. Excited to see this get fleshed out on PC/iPad.

Request after playing first two Rogue missions

So....with the help of some 50mm HE from my Puma, I've fought my way through the first two missions of the German Rogue campaign. First -- My computer locked up after completing each mission. Green screen with a white bar in the middle. Is that a bug or my machine? Because the game otherwise runs fi...

A McDonalds hamburger plain and french fries and a drink is a better purchase than this game.

Whatever.

Re: skirmish battles just end

While I agree that options are good, you also have to be careful about the validity of data/posts from people who are playing 'outside the norm'. I guess I don't know how good those points were if he's questioning the "validity" of posts offering feedback. In fact, points like that just m...

Re: skirmish battles just end

There needs to be a means for the player to set the length. OR.....set it up so there's diminishing returns based on how long it takes you to win. If I need 6 Turns to win, then my rewards/score are somehow less than if you can blitz through in just a few. Couldn't there be a way to institute someth...

skirmish battles just end

Why???

I still have units left. I still have an officer left. But there's some random as hell time limit? You're giving me 3 Turns to kill every enemy on the map?

Re: A Shame ?

Subjective complaints.

I love the look of the game. The dice are fine. I don't have any complaints about the interface. And I'm obviously playing on a PC.

To each his own.

mechanics are great...scenarios...

Are pretty unforgiving -- and based a lot more on luck than any skill. Example: Oddball. Doesn't matter how you position his Sherman -- by the second turn, in my opinion, it's way too easy for the German AI to have lined up both AT teams. My gripes: Either Oddball goes to the far left of the map -- ...

Well done

I'm registered to test on iPad, but didn't want to wait so bought it for PC. Nicely done :D I'll be grabbing expansions as they're available. Thought I'd offer some positive input. I'm seeing a lot of griping so far over what looks (admittedly I'm only five missions in) to be a very solid game. My o...

So Come on with the Betas

Slitherine folks -- I looked up some code for my ipad and registered for the Normandie and Hammer betas (Normandie a while ago, Hammer more recently). I know you'll let us know ...in theory.... when they're about to start -- but any rough idea o' when? Would you have given a heads up if the slots we...

Don't know which version I'm playing but as the Germans in SP I got two of the achievement stars. Held 6 of the 8 objectives. Butchers bill: Lost an osttruppen squad, panzer ivf2, scout and pak 40. Killed/captured: 17 t-34s 7 kvs 1 su-85 17 infantry (assault engineers, smgs, anti-tank rifles, militi...

Re: BA2 Scenarios by Petcat

Yeah, no. Tried Within Sight again and I'm not going to see it through. To me, it's an exercise in frustration. German infantry, as the defenders, outnumber me and they're fielding Waffen SS and Fallschirmjager. Nebelwerfer barrages nailing my troops in the heart of a major city where I can't sneak ...

Re: BA2 Scenarios by Petcat

I really do appreciate the efforts of modding and building a scenario...but I guess I'm not good enough to enjoy the within sight of campaign. I guess for me any scenario where I take fire and casualties if I literally move one square is not for me. There's just a solid wall of Germans in front of e...
