Re: The Wargamers Club for Gentlemen (WGCG)

The 'Gentlemen' refers to the behaviour acceptable in the club. It is because most trolls appear to be male in the wargaming World, in my experience. We do in fact have a lady in the club and it hasn't deterred many people coming through our doors. Maybe take a look instead of making petty comments...

Re: The Wargamers Club for Gentlemen (WGCG)

Count the number of "Womens Institutes" and "Clubs for Gentlemen" and do the maths...

Sorry, guys, if it were the 19th century and I were a lord in Victorian Britain I'd certainly join your "club" but this is the 21st century... You reap what you sow...

Re: The Wargamers Club for Gentlemen (WGCG)

Um..., it sounds a bit sexist now, doesn't it? What if a woman wanted to join? Is it one of them clubs only for men, like Beefsteak Club in England and Australia in the past? How about "The Wargamers Club for Gentlewomen and Gentlemen" (WGCGG) OR, even better, "The Wargamers Club for ...

Re: ✯ The Wargaming Club (TWC) ✯

So, what exactly goes on here: http://thewargamingclub.online/ and what goes on here: https://thewargamingclub.slack.com/ ? What is slack for? Which one is the club proper? Why do you need two? Signed up a long time ago but never really participated. Might be about time to do something about ...

Re: Future of this game ?

Is FoG1 worth buying considering the fact that there is now FoG2? It depends on what you are looking for. If you prefer 2 D games without nervkilling animations it"s the rigth game. If a modern graphic is important for you ist the wrong game. I'm not crazy about animations or 3D; however, what...

Future of this game ?

Is FoG1 worth buying considering the fact that there is now FoG2? Is it still being developed? Also, is the game in the store Unity or non-Unity?

1919-1921 Polish-Soviet War is open to numerous interesting scenarios and what-ifs...; hasn't been covered at all, to the best of my knowledge; hoping AGEOD will do it one day...

Re: Steam reviews

Well, this reminds me that recently the number of negative grades for my review of GG's War in the East has significantly (and rather suspiciously) increased... :?

So, since we're at it, how about some of you guys visitng my steam profile and improving the rating a little bit...?

Problem with registering a game serial

Hi, I tried to register my Close Combat: Cross of Iron serials (I've got 2) at Slitherine, but the system doesn't let me - I'm getting "error 108 - lockout." I bought the games at Matrix a few years ago. I also tried to register my AGEOD Napoleon's Campign serial with a simialr result. Alt...

Warhammer 40,000: Slitherine vs Relic Entertainment (SEGA)

Hi, I'm not familiar with the Warhammer 40,000 setting but I've recently got interested in it since the gameplay and game mechanics seem similar to Panzer Corps, which I like a lot. I'm considering buying it. I also noticed that some Warhammer 40,000 titles were developed by Relic Entertainment and ...
