The 40mm Borfors AA gun does not have an Anti-Tank Mode attribute. See the OOB Unit Viewer: http://mfendek.byethost16.com/?f=%7B%22id%22%3A459%7D

Re: FUTURE of ORDER OF BATTLE
I would like to see the Commonwealth equivalent to Sandstorm as a stand alone DLC.

Re: infantry units!
Don't assume that the unit scale is consistent between nations in the same battle. Soviet and Italian units are probably one level up. If the German unit is a regiment then the equivalent Russian unit would be a division.

Re: The Prussian Heyday Round 2
Congratulations to SMJohnso77 (Prussian) against W_Michael (Austrian).
The Austrians won the cavalry battles on the flanks by depleting the cavalry in the centre. Unfortunately for the Austrians, it was too late to save the great battle in the centre.

Re: The Prussian Heyday
With regard to Kolin 1757, I don't think that limited ammunition and the residual shooting phase are compatible. Ammunition cannot be reserved for closer shooting. The AI takes your shot for you.

Re: The Prussian Heyday Round 2
I don't know much about 18th century warfare, but these scenarios are fun and generally simpler because of the limited variety of unit types. I still think that dragoons are not categorized properly, and there is no progression of 18th century technology, but they are great scenarios.

A friend and I have played many Skirmish battles, but used a random number generator to decide the parameters. We use Pot Luck sides based on the following tables: VariableP&S.jpg We dismissed Mountains terrain, and made Open Battle and Agricultural terrain account to half of the battles. Th...

Re: Deployment Options
To be clear, I am suggesting using Auto Force Selection so that you are not cherry picking your units after viewing the battlefield layout. Given that, you should still be able to split mixed infantry units into elemental parts during deployment, because there is historical precedent.

I know, but I haven't seen this on anyone's wish list so I thought that it was worth mentioning. Still a great game after all these years. Thanks.

I've never been a fan of choosing your army composition after seeing the layout of the battlefield. On the other hand, there are historical examples of generals separating the shot from the pike in infantry regiments to advance into woods (see the Battle of Cheriton). It would be nice if there was a...

Re: The Prussian Heyday Round 1
Dragoons transitioned from mounted infantry to medium cavalry some time in the 18th century. Which were they during the Battle of Soor (or were they a mix)? From what I know, already in the times of Friedrich Wilhelm I, dragoons operated practically only as typical cavalry. From what I can tell dra...

Re: The Prussian Heyday Round 1
My Austrians defeated Doyley50's Prussians. I withdrew my left flank infantry so that they could form a line from the woods to the troops defending the rightmost flag. This discouraged the Prussian cavalry from outflanking there. Only a token force defended the leftmost flag as a delaying action. Of...
